The School held a celebration evening on Wednesday 24th June 2015 to mark the completion of study by our Upper Sixth/Year 13 boys. As the glorious sunshine bathed the School, the boys and their families attended in great numbers for House farewells, drinks and canapés on the Croquet Lawn, followed by speeches and prize giving in the Bourne Hall.

Following a formal procession into the Hall, the Headmaster addressed the audience as he expressed warm wishes and congratulated the boys, as well as acknowledging the contributions of their supportive families and teachers.

Guest speaker, Dr Rasheed Zakaria OH, a neurosurgeon and former School Captain, offered wise words to the boys and drew from his own experiences – a brilliant, humorous and motivational speech. 2015 School Captain Marcus Rapacioli offered the vote of thanks and spoke eloquently about the journey he embarked on whilst at Habs – another thoroughly uplifting speech.

Mr Roger Llewellyn OH, Director of Foundation, addressed the boys and guests by providing the final farewell. He reminded all of the importance of philanthropy in the history of the School, while exhorting all to keep in touch.

Prizes were awarded to the Upper Sixth by the Headmaster and the boys continued celebrating their successes and achievements with family, friends and teachers. It was a delightfully Haberdashers’ evening; a wonderful occasion!

We look forward to hearing of many more achievements from the Class of 2015, who will always remain part of the Habs Community.
