Habs Boys appoints new Head of Prep School

We are delighted to announce that, following an extensive and thorough recruitment process, Mrs Michelle Best has been appointed as the permanent Head of Habs Boys Prep and Pre-Prep. Mrs Best joined the Prep School in September 2023, as Senior Deputy Head, and has established herself very quickly and successfully with our students, staff and parents. She has led important curriculum developments which will inspire our pupils and ensure further academic rigour.

This term Mrs Best has been a calming and assured presence in her role as Acting Head. She combines energy, real warmth and a genuine care for our pupils, with firm standards and high expectations and she has a clear, ambitious vision for the Prep and Pre-Prep School.

Mrs Best will continue to work closely with the Prep Leadership team, as well as the Senior Leadership team, as we strive to provide the very best education for our pupils. We pride ourselves on intellectual curiosity, academic aspiration, pastoral excellence and an exceptional range of opportunities beyond the curriculum and look forward to continuing to support Mrs Best and her aligned ambition. She will be instrumental in enabling our pupils to make outstanding academic progress, whilst also developing their interests and character, all of which will prepare them to make their own profound impact in the world.
