On Tuesday 21 March the boys in the Prep School played their first ever Chess match against The Girls Junior School. This is a new initiative and so was a friendly match. There were 24 competitors from each school, so there was plenty of opportunity for both boys and girls.
Over 48 matches were played and a very good standard was observed by Mr Eden who coaches in both schools. The final scores resulted in the girls winning by a close margin of three points.
I would like to thank Mr Eden, Mrs Patel, Mrs Usher and Abhinay Kannan (Year 6) for helping organise the event
Mr Brown
