Habs Success at National Schools Chess Championship

Earlier in the term, the School’s Chess ‘B’ team emerged victorious in the ECF U19 Nationals Schools Championship at Highgate School.

Habs’ Boys beat both North London Collegiate School A and B teams and Highgate A team with 6-0, 6-0, 4.5-1.5 victories respectively. No games were lost by our boys, with Avi, Aman and Lukas drawing against their Highgate opponents.

The competition was strong and the opposition played very well. Our boys played admirably and resolutely throughout.

Congratulations to Kian (8R2), Niall (11M1), Aman (10J1), Avi (11J2), Lukas (8C1) and Pranav (8J1)!
