On the last Monday of Spring Term, the Medburn Centre was host to the Inter House Swimming Gala!
To prepare for the competition, many students attended early morning swimming sessions to train for their allocated event. It was fantastic to see the gallery full of parents excited to watch the very best of Habs swimming.
More than 150 students competed in 27 events with the utmost effort and determination. On an individual level we saw three school records broken, congratulations to the following students:
YEAR 8 50m BACKSTROKE : 36.76 Joe (8R1)
YEAR 7 50m BREASTSTROKE : 40.48 Felix (7M)
YEAR 11/12/13 50m BREASTROKE : 36.29 Aaron (L6H2)
Congratulations to Strouts who went on to win the overall competition with Meadows finishing a close second.
A huge thanks to Tutors, Heads/Deputy Heads of House, the PE Department and all the Medburn Support Staff for your help with this brilliant event.
