Students in Calverts House are once again taking on the annual Calverts Triathlon, a long-standing House tradition that brings students together through sport and fundraising for an important cause.

Each year, Calvetians challenge themselves through sponsored rowing, swimming and running, raising money for the chosen Calverts House charity. The Triathlon is one of the House’s key fundraising events and provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate resilience, teamwork and community spirit while making a difference beyond the school.

This year, Calverts has chosen Horatio’s Garden as its House charity. Horatio’s Garden works to improve the lives of people with spinal injuries by creating and expertly staffing beautiful gardens within NHS spinal injury rehabilitation centres.

The charity has a particularly meaningful connection to Calverts, having supported a student within the House, making its selection as this year’s charity all the more special.

Through the Triathlon, students in Years 9 and 10 came together to take on the challenge and raise vital funds in support of Horatio’s Garden and its work.

We are incredibly proud to see our students putting care, community and resilience into action, combining personal challenge with a shared commitment to supporting others.
