Middle School welcomes presenters from Elevate

The Middle School recently welcomed six presenters from Elevate, a leading organisation with expertise and experience working with young people by delivering a combination of evidence-based skills, engaging workshops and classroom resources. 

Ben, Davide, Jai, Jumana, Michou and Phoebe pictured below together with Mr Lawrence (Head of Middle School) and Miss Hooker (Deputy Head of Middle School) were excited to collaborate on this new partnership. The aim is to develop study skills and positive learning habits in our Middle School students and we have developed a tailored programme of seminars so that as students journey through the Middle School they build up the skills they need to support their learning, at the time they need them.

This morning saw the first in a series of Study Skills workshops which Years 9 to 11 will be benefitting from and Year 10 students explored a range of skills in “Study Sensei” to support their preparations towards GCSEs.  Students were energised and enthusiastic in developing these habits and we are thrilled to partner with this inspiring team.
