Old Boys Josh Myers (OH 2018) and Teddy Davis (OH 2018) will be taking their devised play The Kiss to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August!
The show came to life at Habs in March 2018 as the boys devised the piece based on Chekhov’s short story. Initially a 20 minute play, Josh and Teddy developed it into a longer version which was performed at The Hen and Chickens Theatre in Islington in the winter of 2018. After a hugely successful run at Islington, the boys decided to take the play to Edinburgh.
Heartwarming, funny and bursting with energy, The Kiss tells the story of an unlikely friendship between two soldiers. After the timid Ryabovitch is mistakenly kissed for the first time, his world is transformed. The show blends physically comedy, live music and storytelling to create a fun and feel-good show that will have you laughing and crying all at once.
The Kiss will be performed from 1-10 August at C Venues Aquila Studio (Venue 21) on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.
