Congratulations to Charlie Schaffer (OH 2010) on being shortlisted for the BP Portrait Award 2019. His painting, “Imara In Her Fur Coat” (see below), has been selected along with three others out of 2,538 entries for this year’s award. The awards will be made during the prize-giving dinner on Tuesday 11 June.
In its 40th year at the National Portrait Gallery, the BP Portrait Award is one of the most prestigious portrait competitions in the world and represents the very best in contemporary practice. The exhibition will run at the National Portrait Gallery from 13 June to 20 October 2019.
