The pupils in David’s house had great fun celebrating St David’s Day.
They enjoyed a lovely lunch of traditional Welsh lamb casserole or rarebit followed by Welsh cakes. They learnt about the story of St David and how the day is celebrated in Welsh schools, with an Eisteddfod. Each child made a daffodil (the Welsh national flower) to take home, along with their own recipe for Welsh cakes!
