The Senior Ski Trip went to Tignes Val Claret in the French Alps this half term.  It was a hugely successful and enjoyable ski trip. The weather for skiing was incredible with five and a half days of sunshine and barely a breath of wind.  This meant there were no excuses to hang around in the hotel and there was much satisfying skiing had by all.  The trip was tinged with tragedy as a huge avalanche killed four people and made headline news back in the UK.  Mr Simm and the staff acted quickly to reassure all parents that we were, thankfully, all safe.

The boys made huge progress with their skiing and behaved brilliantly.  It was also a great pleasure to hear the hotel staff sing their praises.  They commented that they showed excellent manners and passed their room inspections with the hotel manager with flying colours, although their French language skills leave something to be desired.  The boys also organised presents for their ski instructors which they presented with confidence, clarity and good humour.  The award for best skier (aka Ski King) was won by Arun Ray (L6H1), the best beginner was Raunak Khanduja (10R2), the skier that made the most progress was Oscar Spalter (10H1) and the man of the tour award was won by Harry Sharer (U6H2).

A huge thank you to all the staff and boys for a fantastic half term trip.
