Sixth Former to represent UK

Sahil Baid has been selected for the team of four to represent the UK at the International Chemistry Olympiad in Thailand in July. This follows a hectic week over Easter when he attended the selection events for both the international Chemistry and international Physics Olympiad teams; he was also shortlisted for a place on the Physics team but had to withdraw when offered the Chemistry place.

Sahil is the third pupil we have had make it onto the international team in the last seven years (Nick Parker, 2011, and Guy Lewy, 2013, being the others) and illustrates the fantastic success of and opportunities for our most gifted pupils.
