Habs Boys is delighted to announce excellent results at GCSE across all subjects!

Congratulations to our Year 11s who have worked incredibly hard and shown great strength of character during another challenging year with lockdowns, interruptions and restrictions, to achieve remarkable GCSE results.

Mr Gus Lock, Headmaster, said: “I am extremely proud of this cohort. They have demonstrated considerable resilience and character by meeting the challenges of this past year head on. These outstanding results are richly deserved and reflect an immense amount of determination and hard work by our exceptional students.

It is important to remember that Habs students have achieved these superb results alongside fully participating in the huge array of character-building opportunities which we have continued to provide beyond the classroom in sport, music, art and drama. We are enormously proud of the way they have also taken every opportunity during this pandemic to serve local, national and global communities through charitable activities.

My warmest thanks must go to our parent body, who have tirelessly supported their children; also to our wonderful staff, for their expert, passionate teaching and guidance for every student throughout the considerable  challenges of this past year.”

For the second year running our Year 11 students were provided with outstanding opportunities to pursue their academic learning well beyond the GCSE syllabus through the School’s ‘Bridge Programme’. Students from both Habs Boys and Habs Girls worked together on the programme to broaden their horizons, enabling them to be well and truly prepared to embrace their A Level journey.

Mr Lock concluded: “Warmest congratulations to this year group. These results, once again, show the breadth and depth of offering at Habs. I very much look forward to welcoming our students back in September to start their Sixth Form studies.”
