On Tuesday 29 April 2014, Year 1 visited the Roald Dahl Gallery and Buckinghamshire County Museum. The boys began the visit by taking a trip back in time and playing with toys from different centuries to get an idea of how games for children have changed.
Afterwards, the Gallery provided an opportunity for the boys to experience the wonderful world of Roald Dahl. Amongst many activities they explored sound with the BFG, acted out a scene from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory where Augusts Gloop gets stuck in the bubble tube and discovered the world of minibeasts inside James’s Giant Peach.
