As part of their Healthy Me (keeping safe) PSHCE topic, the Year 3 boys really enjoyed visiting the Hazard Alley Safety Centre in Milton Keynes.
The boys experienced real life scenarios such as making a 999 call from a phone box, identifying hazards in a realistic looking kitchen and learned how to cross a road safely. They also learned how to put someone in the recovery position and found the day invaluable. One boy said, ‘I would say that Hazard Alley is a very good experience for you to learn about the different ways of being safe in you house for you and your family. I found it interesting to be aware of all the dangers.’
