Over the Easter holidays, 21 boys from Year 9 and 10 took part in the German exchange to Munich. They were met at the airport on Friday evening by their host partners from our link school, Gisela Gymnasium, and went on to enjoy many different activities over the weekend with their host families, including trips to the snow-capped Alps, fun at a water park and visits to the BMW Museum and Olympic Tower. On Monday 15 April morning all the boys met up again at school and embarked on a busy programme of activities for the week, which included exploring Munich itself as well as day trips to Herrenchiemsee and even a trip over the border to Salzburg, Austria. Frau Hanlon and Herr Jones were very impressed with all of the boys; they were fantastic ambassadors for the School and wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to practise their German and take part in meaningful cultural exchange.
