Congratulations to our Class of 2025, on achieving exceptional A Level results. A* is once again the most commonly achieved grade!

It has been busy year for Habs Boys, following an exceptional ISI inspection (with 2 Significant Strengths) back in February. Today’s A Level results are the culmination of many years of exceptional dedication and hard work. Habs Girls and Habs Boys have had a record-breaking year, with both schools improving on the A Level results from last year.

  • At Habs Boys, 47% of all A Levels awarded were at grade A*, once again making this the most commonly achieved grade. 79% of all A Levels awarded were at grades A*-A and an impressive 65% of all students achieved 3 or more A* or As.
  • OCR congratulated two of our students as the top performers in the country for A Level English Literature.
  • 23 pupils have secured their Oxbridge offers (courses include History of Art, English, History, Economics & Management, Computer Science, HSPS, PPE, Maths, Land Economics, Medicine, English Language and Literature, Maths and Philosophy, Theology and Religion).

The class of 2025 is the second cohort to have been taught at least one of their A Level subjects in a co-educational class. Our co-educational classes in both the Girls’ School and Boys’ School have excelled across their academic disciplines, demonstrating the ‘best of both worlds’ for our students.

Subjects taught in the Boys’ School that achieved more than 80% of grades at A* or A include: DT, English Literature, Computer Science, Further Maths, Geography, Philosophy, Religious Education and Spanish. Similarly subjects taught in the Girls’ School that achieved more than 80% of grades at A* or A include: Art, Classical Civilisation, DT, English Literature, Further Maths, History, Music, Politics and Spanish. A remarkable 89% of grades in Further Maths were awarded an A*.

The most popular UK university destinations include: Bristol, Imperial, KCL, LSE, Leeds, Manchester, Oxbridge, UCL and Warwick. International university offers include NYU, Columbia, UCLA, McGill Canada, Kyoto, Bocconi and one student has secured a coveted KPMG Degree apprenticeship.

Our students have chosen to study a vast range of courses including Computer Science, Chemistry, Dentistry, Economics, English Literature, History, History of Art, Law, Maths, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine and Philosophy.

Habs Girls also enjoyed equally impressive results: 37% of all A Levels awarded were at grade A* and 75% of all A Levels awarded were at grades A*-A. An impressive 60% of all students achieved 3 A* or As.

These results are testament to their incredible ambition and commitment – the results alongside their Habs Diploma, co-curricular, partnership and leadership responsibilities is a true reflection of a Habs student. We know that these results, combined with the wide-ranging opportunities our students have experienced, will provide them with the skills to thrive in the next part of their journey and go onto having a profound impact in the world.

Alongside their outstanding achievements today, all our students have also completed their compulsory Habs Diploma. We launched the Habs Diploma to transcend the traditional curriculum, instilling lifelong habits in our students. From September 2025 we are pleased to announce that we have introduced the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) into the Habs Diploma. This enables Sixth Form students to chose between the EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) or ERP (Extended Research Project) as part of their Habs Diploma.
