Weekend

Perhaps now, more than ever, we are feeling the need to escape our confines and venture to the world of elsewhere. One of the many inspiring reactions to these recent weeks has been the unfailing way in which art and creative content continues to be delivered.

 

 

With this in mind, the School presents ‘Weekend’ – a piece of original work by two Sixth Formers, Aaron and Arun.

 

 

Initially intended to be delivered as part of an evening performance in the Drama Studio, the piece has been remotely reworked into an audio track with accompanying short film.

 

 

The music, by Arun, began as an improvised response to Aaron’s words. The sounds are taken from recordings of daily tasks and occurrences around the home.
